What We Do:

Competitions & Articles

We host competitions for students who wish to be encouraged to speak up for change in society. We create a multitude of competitions ranging from Model United Nations - agendas specifically focusing on wars, and international relations -, debates, and public speaking; providing an opportunity for young minds to engage in critical thinking and diplomacy. Thus, we host occasional debates between our members to share insights and create articles from the debates

WHO WE ARE

We are a community where students ponder on issues of justice, political conflicts in society, rising issues of war and violence, and ongoing international relations issues. We ponder political theories together, and we debate on issues we, teenagers find problematic or interesting. With the different values we have as individuals can create a lively community with continuous debates and talks of different thoughts and ideologies; what are the rightful actions to take in circumstances. Our primary goal is to establish a vibrant and inclusive platform where individuals can freely express their thoughts and opinions on global issues that target our future.

INTRODUCING OUR Goals

At its core, YSIA is driven by a singular goal: to amplify the voices of young people and effect tangible change in society. The association serves as a platform for impassioned debates, where members can hone their advocacy skills and share their perspectives on pressing political issues. We aim to create a community where members engage in spirited discussions, challenging each other's viewpoints and fostering a culture of intellectual exchange. From dissecting the nuances of policy proposals to questioning the status quo, every debate serves as an opportunity for growth and enlightenment.

One of the primary avenues through which YSIA channels its collective energy is through the publication of articles that offer insights into the minds of teenagers regarding current political issues. These articles serve as windows into the aspirations, concerns, and frustrations of the younger generation, shedding light on topics that are often overlooked or misunderstood by mainstream discourse.

In essence, the Youth Social Impact Association is more than just an organisation; it is a movement fuelled by the passion and idealism of its members. As teenagers navigate the complex landscape of politics and social change, YSIA provides them with a supportive community and a platform to make their voices heard. Together, we strive to shape a more just and equitable world, one debate at a time.
